This track got me into a whole heap of trouble as it was originally written in the first person. The stage fright part is (still) very real, but who wants to listen to song just about that, so I invented a shy, lovelorn character to sing it. However, I didn't explain this very well when I first played to my wife or, indeed. at the Open Mic at my local club.

I can still recall, with total embarrassment, the looks of shock and horror on all their faces. Lesson learned about writing songs that appear to be autobiographical - it's now about some poor bloke sod called Barry.
